• On December 6, we celebrate another Foundation Day, marking 14 full years since our establishment. We are deeply grateful for the invaluable support of all our stakeholders.
• In last year’s Foundation Day blog, I mentioned our challenges, including alleviating the shortage of components and advancing the development of thin-film sensors. While these issues remain unresolved, we are steadily making progress.
• As for our achievements this year, the most significant was at the beginning of the year when our vein authentication technology was installed in all bedside drawers at the University of Tokyo Hospital. Beyond the sales generated, this recognition of our technology’s ease of use, high security, and structural simplicity was highly motivating and deeply appreciated.
• The ripple effects of this accomplishment have been substantial, contributing to broader recognition of both our company and vein authentication technology.
• Inquiries about our solutions now extend beyond hospitals and healthcare institutions to include exciting and unexpected areas. Interestingly, many of these “unexpected” sectors align with areas we have long aspired to explore. Examples include wellness, fitness, and beauty facilities where hands-free entry and locker access are valued, as well as co-creation proposals from companies in the Global South—regions we have long believed in but hadn’t yet fully developed. These opportunities set the stage for challenges worth tackling as we look toward 2025 and 2026.
• None of these projects can be completed by us alone. Following our founding strategy of forming “Success Teams,” we aim to transform potential opportunities into tangible outcomes and deliver a “simple & secure” lifestyle environment powered by Mofiria to an even broader audience. • Looking ahead to next year, we anticipate continued global political and environmental challenges that could impact our business. Nevertheless, as always, we will strive to persevere and lead our challenges to success.
